Summary: This utility model is a bearing monitor that automatically tracks radial bearing wear. A permanent-magnet ring (acting as a generator rotor) is fitted to the bearing shaft, with two sensing probes mounted above and below it. The probe coils develop induced EMF; the lower probe and the magnet ring together form a gap sensor. As the bearing wears and the shaft sags, the gap shrinks and the induced EMF changes; the signal is conditioned, amplified, and drives an indicator. The upper probe’s induced current supplies the lower probe’s amplifier drive. The monitor suits a variety of mechanical equipment, especially magnetically-coupled sealed pumps. Contact: 13823228656
